A Miracle In The House

2nd. Kings 4:1-7

INTRODUCTION:

Miracles are not accidents.

Miracles happen to those who need them.

To those who want them and to those who reach out for them.

Never have we seen a finish line move toward the runner.

But rather the runner must race toward the finish line.

So must we move toward our miracle.

SOMEONE ASKED THE QUESTION:

What are you doing about your miracle?

Nothing was the reply, just sitting here.

But when we realize we have nothing but ourselves to give in the

matter, God performs a miracle in our behalf.

The same is true if we’ve been on fire for the Lord and right now

we’re not.

God knows where you are. He knows where you need to be. And

he knows how to get you there.

THE HOUSE CAN REPRESENT THE PLACE WHERE YOU ARE:

So many times we find ourselves looking here and there for a

miracle.

And we need look no longer for the miracle is not out there, it’s in

here.

THE HOUSE CAN REPRESENT YOUR BODY:

1st. Cor. 6:19

Do you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in

you, whom you have received from God.

You were bought with a price, Therefore honor God with your body.

We are His body.

There is a miracle in the body today.

There is a miracle in the house today.

Because God is in the house.

The miracle of forgiveness is here.

The miracle of restoration is here right now.

The miracle for your healing is here.

There’s a miracle in the house today.

GOD USE SMALL THINGS TO CREATE BIG MIRACLES:

Your servant has nothing at all, except a little oil!

Little is much when God is in it.

Little was much with Moses and the rod he had in his hand.

With the rod, he led Israel out of bondage.

With his rod, he parted the waters and they went over.

LITTLE BECAME MUCH WITH THE BROWN BAG LUNCH:

Someone said to Jesus, here is a lad with five barley loaves and

two fishes.

But what is that among so many?

Little became much in the Masters hands.

Are you willing to give God, your little?

YOU DO YOUR PART AND GOD WILL DO HIS PART:

Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy

neighbors, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. V. 3

Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons.

Put aside what others may think or say.

Don’t let fear rob you of your miracle.

And then, “In order to receive, you must first let go”.

First let go of how God will perform your miracle.

Let go of how you have preconceived the miracle.

Don’t worry of how God’s gonna pull this off.

AND THEN LET THE OIL FLOW:

Many of us think we need to fill up our spiritual tanks.

But what we really need is an oil change.

God is saying, we need the oil of the Holy Spirit to flow through

us.  Amen?

Oil here meaning FAITH, among many other things.

BELOVED, WE MUST NEVER LOSE FAITH IN MIRACLES:

Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you

because you observe the law, or because you believe what you

heard? Gal. 3:5

The atmosphere of expectancy is the breeding ground for a

miracle.

What is your need right now?

Remember when God orders a miracle, He pays the bill.

And when we order a miracle, we must pay the bill.

For my miracle, I may not know what to do.

But I know where to go!
